The pure normal paving can make the texture of the tiles better stretch and extend, but the expressiveness of the tiles does not stop there. Now more and more ceramic tiles need to be processed to show their speciality, through deep processing such as chamfering, slotting, and rounded edges, presenting various three-dimensional and aesthetic decorative effects. Well, China Minmetals will introduce a few of them to you.
For example:
Pull slot
Slotting, also known as slotting. In the past, it has been widely used in stone, but with the introduction of whole-body marble tiles and porcelain polished tiles, tiles can also make grooves. Groove processing is used on the steps to achieve a non-slip and beautiful effect. Commonly, there are double or three anti-slip grooves.
In addition to the step application, the floor tiles can also be grooved on the wall, such as the bathroom, the living room and other places.
Chamfering
Chamfering is mainly used in the corner processing of the wall, which is a more traditional way of processing the external corner.
Grind the two tiles to a 45 degree angle, and then paste them diagonally. This seemingly simple paving skill actually tests the skill of the decorator. A properly handled chamfer is better than directly using a positive angle line. More beautiful and upscale.
It is worth mentioning that the 45-degree chamfer is actually not 45 degrees, but about 30 degrees. Only in this way can there be a gap between the corners of the two tiles (if it is really cut to 45 degrees, two pieces The bricks are put together to form a right angle, so there are no gaps), and then used to fill the adhesive.
Be careful not to grind the tiles too thin during construction, so as to avoid cracking at the joints later.
Round edges
Round edges, as the name suggests, are to round the edges and corners of the tiles to avoid being too sharp. It can be applied to the rounded edges of the ceramic tiles of the stairs, window sills, and stove tops.
At present, it is generally used more for paving countertops, window sills or step round edges.

Shaping
Modeling can generally be called combined paving. For example, the paving methods such as rhombus, back shape, triangle, wave line, etc. are all completed by secondary cutting, and the changeable shape makes the space effect more abundant.

Water jet parquet
Waterjet mosaics are expensive. But its magnificence is unparalleled. Without waterjet mosaic, it can be said that it cannot be called a luxury house. Its cost depends on the square number and the complexity of the pattern.
Although there are 'waterjet parquets' made by direct inkjet, the effect can almost be fake if you don't look closely, but compared with the real waterjet parquet, there is still a gap in texture.
Relief
Ceramic tiles use sandblasting to achieve the effect of relief. The oil paper is cut into patterns by the equipment, and the oil paper is pasted on the tiles, and the cut patterns are removed, and then sandblasting can be carried out. The concave and convex relief effect makes the patterns on the tiles come out vividly, which is generally applied to the background wall.
